      In an advertistment for the artist Monaux, the artist uses detail and a good color scheme to persuade the viewer to transfer/open the artists website. Grunge effects are bombarded on this adverstisemen that creates a very dark and mysterious theme. The female is obviously the main focus of the adverstiment with her positioning near the center, the size of her image, and the grunge effects used on her eyes. It was a smart deciscion that she is a goodlooking female since they are trying to attract young males. The artist really creates a mysterious feel to the ad, making the viewer interested in learning more. There is only one line of text, the name of the website, which does not give the viewer enough information to know what the image is about. Although the ad is not clear and the theme is dark, this appeals to the market that they are trying to reach, male teens to early adults. The colors are very similar, and aren’t hard on the eyes, using various calming greens and a bit of black. From my pondering what this advertisement was about I quickly clicked on the link/image and from this I know the artist did a good job of getting my attention.
